George Shearing: Lullaby of Birdland

Finally, a full length concert on DVD of jazz piano legend, George Shearing. Filmed in 1991 at the Paul Masson Winery, Shearing's artistry is captured forever as he and bass sensation Neil Swainson caress the ballads of Rodgers Hart and Hoagy Carmichael, and swing to the bebop of Charlie Parker. Selections include, Isn't it Romantic, Donna Lee, Memphis in June and the title song, Lullaby of Birdland.
